All of our Junior High School students will be attending Junior High Ag Day on Wednesday, April 22. The event will take place at the Logan County Fairgrounds in Sterling from 9:00 - 2:30. We will leave from Merino at 8:20 and should return to school at approximately 2:50. Lunch will be served.
Please help your student check bookshelves, backpacks, and under beds for any missing library book! All books are due back by Thursday, April 30th. Any missing library book after Monday, May the 4th, 2026 will result in a book fine to replace the book. Please help me keep our library beautiful and well-stocked for generations to come!

The JH track meet that was scheduled for Friday, April 17th @ Julesburg has been cancelled due to the predicted forecast.

Mr. Laybourn will take your household items that can be recycled and used as art supplies! Buttons, bolts, seashells, any little item you might normally throw away that we could repurpose for the art department.

JH Track will NOT attend the Holyoke Invite on Friday, April 3rd as participation over the Easter holiday will be lacking.
HS Baseball will NOT play Akron @ Akron on April 4th. It has been moved to a single game @ Akron on Wednesday, April 15th starting at 3:00 PM due to state FBLA that weekend.
