Reminder: No School for students tomorrow 9/20/2024!
Meriino Schools experienced a power outage this afternoon and today's junior high football and volleyball games have been canceled. Power has been restored and the school day will continue as normal and release at 3:25. The football game vs Akron will be played at Merino on Monday, September 23 at 4:00. The volleyball game vs Akron will be played at Merino on Monday, October 7 at 4:00.
Reminder: Tomorrow is picture day! Elementary picture forms were sent home Friday, September 6th!

Our campus is under construction throughout this school year.
Parking in the main lot at the school is limited as we are currently working through an expansion project. There will be overflow parking available in the dirt lot that sits on the east side of the school grounds. It is across Main St. from our current parking lot. If someone needs dropped off closer to the building, feel free to access the bus lane to drop off, but park in marked spots or in the overflow parking lot. Detectives from the Sterling Police Department will be giving a
presentation for adults only on phone/mobile devices and internet
safety regarding sexting, online predators, and cyberbullying to help
parents protect their children from being victimized. This presentation
will also be given in conjunction with Rachelle Maker from Northeast
Colorado Family Medicine. Rachelle and Detectives will be discussing
the above topics as well as the effects of device usage by our children
and how it affects their brains and chemistry.

The junior high and high school cross-country meet at Sterling will be held on Thursday, August 29th not Saturday, August 31st as scheduled.

Crowley County Chamber of Commerce is having a Food Truck Friday @ the football game with Merino on August 30.
