Merino Students & Parents — We Want Your Feedback on School Meals!
At Merino Schools, we want our students to enjoy quality meals that keep them fueled and ready to learn. One of the best ways to improve our school meal program is by hearing directly from the students and families we serve!
Our food service partner, Chartwells K12, is launching its School Meals Report Card, giving students, parents, and families an opportunity to share what they enjoy about our school meals and where we can do better.

🥩 From Their Family Farm to Our Merino Family! 🥩
This week, a special thank you to Mike and Tamie Goss and their five children of Little Creek Cattle for providing locally raised beef for our school meals!
The Goss family has called Merino home for 23 years. As first-generation farmers and ranchers, they have built their business through hard work, dedication, and a passion for agriculture. What started 10 years ago selling beef directly to consumers has grown into a family business serving more than 180 customers!
One of the things I appreciate most about our small community is families like the Goss family who work hard, take pride in what they do, and give back to the place they call home.
Mike, Tamie, and family, thank you for helping put quality, locally raised beef on our students' plates and for being part of what makes Merino special!
There's something pretty special about our students enjoying a meal raised by a family they know right here in our own community.
That's what small communities are all about — neighbors supporting neighbors and taking care of our kids!
